Our greatest challenge at Arivale was figuring out how to do habit change right in a digital space. This section documents some of the most promising and most rewarding work I’ve done in my career to date. This entry is heavy on the research and strategy underlying powerful UX work.

The product team at Arivale was given extensive time to do user research and create blue sky concepts exploring possible market strategy, branding, visual design, and functionality of a freemium mobile offering. This entry is more visually heavy than the previous.

Working on the Arivale mobile app, I had an opportunity to design for both Android and iOS devices, to port complex functionality from a web dashboard to a limited space, and to begin to craft new features and styles to improve the mobile user experience.

Wellinformd aimed to make the healthcare industry more transparent, and make it easier to understand and manage health care spending. I get to wear all of the hats with a focus on UX/UI, branding and a lot of copy.

AboutLocal helped brick and mortar merchants see what their customers were saying about them in a world before location tagging. I contributed end-to-end production on branding, copywriting, UX, UI, front end, and back end development.


OneWed

wedding planning on steroids

With full creative control over the brand, UX, and UI, I directed successful overhauls of both Nearlyweds.com and OneWed.com, pushing OneWed past Martha Stewart Weddings as the 5th most trafficked wedding website. As a team of 3, we all collectively shared responsibilities in user research, wireframing, marketing, and building out code.
